Day 10...A post from Sanoviv!

When I started this 30 day challenge, I wasn't expecting to be out of town so much this month. Both trips have really helped facilitate healing and I am feeling stronger than I have since I got sick in February. This time I am at Sanoviv for just a few days of intense natural I.V. therapy, oxygen therapy, glutathione injections, bio-energetic treatments, therapeutic spa treatments, meditation and healing food.

I will resume the 30 day challenge next week when I am home.

Every time I leave Sanoviv, I try to go home and implement at least one thing I learned or practiced here, be it meditation techniques, dry brushing, juicing vegetables, jumping on a rebounder, or eliminating certain things from my diet. The first time I visited Sanoviv, I wanted to go home and incorporate everything they were doing here and it got completely overwhelming. Now I feel good if I can just do one more thing that I know will be beneficial for my health every time I leave.

Today instead of doing a Healthy Home tip, I thought I would leave you with a Healthy "Sanoviv" tip.

At Sanoviv we start each morning with the juice of half a lemon in a cup of lukewarm water.

"Lemon can stimulate and aid elimination in digestion and helps to destroy putrefactive bacteria in both the intestines and the mouth- it is used to purify the breath. Its antiseptic, anti-microbial, and mucous-resolving action make it useful during diarrhea, colds, flu, coughs, and parasite infestations. It benefits the liver, encouraging the formation of bile; improves absorption of minerals; promotes weight loss; cleanses the blood; improves blood pressure and helps weak blood vessels. Lemon increases the production of fluids in the body and is often used for calming the nerves, treating sore throats, cramps, and diabetes."

Try starting your day with a cup of lemon water and see if you can feel any benefits! Happy healthy living!!

Thank you for the tip on lemon water, Sharlie! I use warm water with lemon and a little bit of honey when I have a sore throat and have to perform (sing), but I never thought to have a regular regimen of lukewarm water and 1/2 a lemon for other health benefits. I'll start implementing this as soon as I can get to the store for lemons!

Glad to hear your trip to Sanoviv has been so restorative for you!
